# Vox2Text Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how Vox2Text handles refunds, credits, restoration of minutes, cancellations, trials, promotions, and EU/UK digital service withdrawal rules for the Vox2Text website, Telegram bot, Telegram mini app, and related online services (the "Service").

This Policy forms part of the Vox2Text Terms of Service.

## 1. Paid Digital Service

Vox2Text provides digital services and digital content, including audio processing, text transcripts, summaries, task lists, translations, downloadable files, and account history where available.

Paid plans, prices, limits, renewal terms, taxes, payment provider terms, and applicable promotional terms are shown in the Service, on the website, in the Telegram bot, or at checkout.

## 2. Subscription Cancellation

Card subscriptions through Whop renew automatically until cancelled. Pro purchased with Telegram Stars lasts 30 days and requires another manual payment to renew; separate minute packages are one-time purchases.

Users may cancel a recurring paid subscription through the payment flow, account interface, Telegram mini app, bot instructions, or support channel made available for the applicable plan.

Cancellation stops future renewal only. Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, cancellation does not automatically refund fees already paid for the current billing period.

To avoid the next renewal charge, cancellation must be completed before the renewal date. Certain payment providers may require cancellation up to 24 hours before renewal.

## 3. Processing Minutes and Credits

Processing minutes, credits, trials, promotional balances, and other usage allowances are not money, stored value, or gift cards. They may not be sold, transferred, exchanged, redeemed for cash, or used outside the Service.

- New Free accounts receive 100 welcome minutes once. At a Free balance of 5 minutes or less, recordings up to 5 minutes each can be processed without deducting minutes, with transcript viewing and TXT download only.
- Pro costs $10 per month through Whop or 1000 Telegram Stars per 30-day period. Each paid purchase or renewal replaces the remaining Pro minutes with 1200 minutes; unused Pro minutes do not carry over and expire when Pro ends without renewal.
- Separate packages cost 100 Telegram Stars for 60 minutes or 150 Telegram Stars for 120 minutes. These minutes accumulate, do not expire, and remain available after Pro ends. They do not renew Pro. All Pro features are available while the account's available balance is above 5 minutes.
- Deleting a successfully processed recording or transcript does not restore spent minutes.

## 4. When Refunds or Credits Are Available

Subject to applicable law, Vox2Text may provide a refund, credit, or restoration of minutes where:

- a User was charged twice for the same purchase;
- a paid processing request failed because of a technical error attributable to Vox2Text and the minutes or access were not restored;
- a User was charged after confirmed cancellation due to Vox2Text or payment-provider processing error;
- applicable consumer law requires a refund, repair, replacement, price reduction, or other remedy;
- Vox2Text determines, in its discretion, that a refund or credit is appropriate.

## 5. When Refunds Are Generally Not Available

Subject to applicable law, refunds are generally not provided where:

- the Service successfully processed the submitted audio and delivered the output;
- the User changed their mind after the paid digital service began;
- the issue was caused by the User's Telegram account, device, internet connection, unsupported file, misuse, or failure to follow instructions;
- the User consumed plan minutes, credits, translations, or other allowances;
- access was suspended or terminated because of a violation of the Terms of Service;
- the request relates to unused allowances that expired or reset under the applicable plan.

## 6. EU, EEA, and UK Withdrawal Rights

Consumers in the EU, EEA, or UK may have a statutory right to withdraw from certain distance contracts within 14 days.

Because Vox2Text provides digital services and digital content that may begin immediately after purchase, Vox2Text may request the User's express consent to immediate performance and acknowledgement that the withdrawal right is lost for digital services or digital content already provided.

This does not limit mandatory consumer remedies where the digital service or digital content is defective, not supplied, not supplied as described, or where applicable law provides a non-waivable remedy.

## 7. Mandatory Consumer Rights

This Policy does not exclude, restrict, or waive any mandatory consumer right that cannot legally be excluded, restricted, or waived in the User's country. Where applicable law requires a refund, repair, replacement, price reduction, re-performance, withdrawal right, or other non-waivable remedy, Vox2Text will handle the request in accordance with that law.

## 8. How to Request a Refund

Refund requests should be submitted to `support@vox2text.com` and should include:

- Telegram user ID or username, if available;
- payment receipt, invoice number, transaction ID, or payment email;
- date and amount of the charge;
- description of the issue;
- relevant file, PDF export, or processing ID, if available.

Vox2Text may request additional information to verify the purchase and investigate the issue.

## 9. Review Timing and Payment Method

Vox2Text will attempt to review refund requests within 10 business days. Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method through the applicable payment provider.

Payment-provider processing times, banking delays, currency conversion differences, card network rules, taxes, and fees may affect the final amount or timing of receipt.

## 10. Abuse and Fraud

Vox2Text may refuse refund requests that appear fraudulent, abusive, repetitive, inconsistent with Service logs, or connected to violation of the Terms of Service.
